Recent events from the Piedmont Virginia Community College Great Expectations Program

On May 2nd, the PVCC Great Expectations Program hosted an “End-of-the-Semester Celebration” with students, family, friends, faculty, and community organization representatives in attendance. The evening program recognized and celebrated the students’ accomplishments this school term.
On May 4th, one of our PVCC Great Expectations students spoke at the Blue Ribbon Ceremony at the CitySpace Downtown Charlottesville in recognition of Foster Care Month.
Also, keep an eye peeled for an article in The Daily Progress (a local Charlottesville, Virginia community newspaper) in recognition of National Foster Care Month featuring the PVCC Great Expectations Program and its accomplishments.
